About the author

Christopher Webb Young is the director of video at Quanta Magazine. For nearly two decades, he served as a lead producer / showrunner on a variety of nonfiction series and specials for networks such as National Geographic, Discovery and Science Channel. Before joining Quanta, Christopher developed and executive produced a streaming science series at Al Roker Entertainment and created digital content across multiple channels as Director of Media at the World Science Festival. He holds a bachelor’s in microbiology from MIT and an MFA in filmmaking / interactive multimedia from Northwestern University.
